Your Professional Development

The International Association of Forensic Radiographers is committed to the professional training of all forensic radiographers. We run a comprehensive programme of training events, study days and conferences throughout the year and are actively involved in developing and providing courses with UK universities. Similar events and courses are under development by IAFR branches in the Repblic of Ireland and the USA.

IAFR courses are aimed at all radiographers - both members of IAFR and non-members - with an interest in developing their knowledge of forensic radiography and keeping up to date with forensic issues.

Some of our training events are mandatory for UK radiographers on the UKFRRT register.

Following feedback from recent courses, the majority of our future events will be practical training days providing participants with "hands-on" experience. We aim to provide at least two courses in 2011; dates and venues to be confirmed.
